Stephen Amaza

Stephen Amaza is a Nigerian entrepreneur and programmer. Stephen is the founder of Codaye Technologies, and currently works as the head of growth at Paystack.

Amaza studied computer science at the University of Lagos. Stephen began their career as an intern at Spinlet, a Nigerian music streaming service, where they worked as a social media manager, graphic designer, and newsletter marketing manager. Stephen then moved on to 360nobs, a Nigerian entertainment website, where they wrote and contributed stories, as well as handling some of the website's technical needs.

In 2015, Amaza became the IT manager at 960 Music Group. Stephen was responsible for handling the technical requirements of the team, managing social media channels, and website maintenance. The following year, they left 960 Music Group to start Codaye Technologies.

Codaye Technologies is a software development company that specializes in building mobile applications and websites. The company has developed apps for a variety of clients, including Nigerian banks and startups. In 2018, Amaza stepped down from their role as CEO of Codaye Technologies, and joined Paystack as head of growth.

Stephen Amaza has a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp, a Technological Entrepreneurship Certification from Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST), and a B. Eng in Computer Engineering from University of Maiduguri. Stephen also has a Secondary School Certificate from Bethany Christian Academy. Finally, they have a certification from Udacity in Mobile Web Specialist.
