Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar has extensive experience in the technology industry, particularly in the field of smart devices. Amit began their career at LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd as a Manager in R&D for Smart TVs, where they worked for over 10 years. Amit then joined Xiaomi Technology as a Product Manager, focusing on the launch of Smart TVs in India and localizing products for the Indian market. Amit later became an Associate Director at Xiaomi India, responsible for launching and managing the laptop and tablet business in the country. Currently, Amit holds the position of Vice President of Devices at Paytm, where they lead the hardware portfolio and manages various aspects of planning, production, quality, and compliance. Amit has achieved significant milestones in their career, with successful product launches and business expansions.

Amit Kumar completed their Master of Technology in Control Systems (Electrical & Electronics) from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.
