Varun Gupta

Varun Gupta is the Senior Director of Engineering at Paytm, overseeing the OCIL/Finmate UPI Vertical with responsibilities in program, process, strategy, and engineering delivery. They have contributed to the establishment of agile processes for the vertical, which has expanded significantly. Previously, Varun managed the Paytm Devices and ecommerce divisions, focusing on logistics, payouts, and seller platforms. Their experience includes a role as Principal Engineer at Cvent, where they led a team of 30 engineers, and various positions at MakeMyTrip, where they were instrumental in developing the hotels web application. Varun holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and an Executive MBA in Information Technology Management.
