Wen Ye

Wen Ye has been working in the software engineering field since 2011. In 2011, they were an Implementation Engineer at Mycroft Inc. where they evaluated Mule ESB to provide a proof of concept for application to support multi-tenant feature. In 2013, they became a Software Developer at Kaplan Test Prep where they developed and maintained a Learning Management System (LMS). In 2014, they were a Software Engineer at Borderfree where they integrated Envoy with Adyen payment services and replaced Redis Cache with MongoDB capped collection for faster performance. In 2015, they joined Goldman Sachs as a Vice President and tech lead for the Publishing team within GIR. Wen was responsible for making critical functional changes and stability enhancements to the Publishing Platform. In 2019, they became a Senior Software Engineer II at Compass where they were responsible for improving the availability, reliability, latency, and efficiency of critical platform services. In 2020, they joined Disney Streaming Services as a Senior Software Engineer and in 2021, they became a Senior Staff Engineer at Extend.

Wen Ye obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences and Applied Mathematics from Stony Brook University. Additionally, they have obtained five Coursera Verified Certificates, including Exploratory Data Analysis, Getting and Cleaning Data, Statistical Inference, R Programming, and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox, all obtained in 2014.
