Daniel Dallmann

Daniel Dallmann has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Daniel started their career at Above Security (previously known as Seccuris Inc.) as an Information Security Analyst in May 2010, and later held roles such as Information Security Specialist, Senior Information Security Analyst, Computer Forensic Examiner, and Security Architect. In September 2016, they joined Payworks Payroll Services Canada as an Information Security Analyst and worked their way up to become a Team Leader, overseeing information security operations. Currently, Daniel holds the position of Manager, Information Security at Payworks Payroll Services Canada.

Daniel Dallmann obtained a Computer Network Technology Diploma in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Herzing College, where they studied from 2009 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications including EnCase® v7 Computer Forensics II and EnCase® v7 Computer Forensics I from Guidance Software in 2015, Offensive Security Wireless Professional (OSWP) from Offensive Security in 2013, Snort Certified Professional (v2.9.x) from Sourcefire, part of Cisco in 2012, CompTIA Network+ (2009 edition), CompTIA Security+ (2008 edition), and CompTIA A+ (2009 edition) from CompTIA in 2010. Daniel also holds certifications such as Certified Incident Handling Engineer (CIHE) from Mile2 in 2018, LPIC-1 from Linux Professional Institute in 2011, LPIC-2 from Linux Professional Institute in 2016, GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst from SANS Institute in 2012, and Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) from EC-Council in 2011.
