Grainne Grande

Grainne Grande has over 20 years of work experience in various legal roles. Grainne currently serves as the General Counsel and Privacy Officer at Payworks Payroll Services Canada, where they oversee workforce management solutions for over 20,000 clients across Canada. Before joining Payworks, Grainne worked as a Legal Counsel at Manitoba Hydro, focusing on power transmission, ethics and compliance, and strategic matters. Prior to that, they were the Director of Regulatory Affairs and Privacy Officer at Bell MTS, leading the regulatory component of major mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Grainne also served as Senior Legal Counsel at Manitoba Telecom Services Inc., where they provided legal advice and led various initiatives, including major mergers, commercial agreements, privacy, and regulatory matters. Grainne started their career as an Associate at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP, specializing in corporate/commercial and real estate law.

Grainne Grande completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science with Honours at the University of Ottawa from 1990 to 1994. Grainne then pursued further education and obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Manitoba, specializing in Law, from 1994 to 1997.
