Marcelo Matos

Marcelo Matos has a diverse work experience in the field of business intelligence and data analysis. Marcelo most recently worked at Payworks Payroll Services Canada as a Business Intelligence Developer, where they used their skills to create and implement data-driven solutions. Prior to this, Marcelo worked as a Data Analyst and Report Analyst at the same company.

Before joining Payworks Payroll Services Canada, Marcelo worked at Hoot Reading as a Full Stack Developer, utilizing their technical expertise to develop web applications. Marcelo also gained valuable experience at PCL Construction as an Information Technology Student, where they not only applied their academic knowledge but also improved their soft skills such as organization and communication. Marcelo had a similar role at The Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, where they initially joined as an Information Technology Student but extended their partnership due to the positive experience.

Marcelo's career started at Banco do Brasil, where they worked for a significant period as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst. In this role, they applied SQL, data structure, and algorithms to gain insights and identify new business opportunities. Marcelo developed strong working relationships with various departments and implemented data management processes to create high-level reports and analytics solutions.

Marcelo Matos completed their education in a chronological manner. Marcelo started their academic journey in 2001 at Centro Universitário Newton Paiva, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in the field of Business Administration and Management. Marcelo completed this program in 2005.

In 2006, Marcelo enrolled in FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Their focus of study during this time was Business Administration and Management, with a general emphasis.

Afterwards, Marcelo pursued further education in the field of Information Technology. From 2017 to 2020, they attended Red River College Polytechnic, where they achieved a degree in Business Information Technology, specializing in Information Technology.

In addition to formal education, Marcelo Matos obtained a certification in Critical Thinking from LinkedIn in June 2020. The institution that provided the certification was LinkedIn itself.
