Bill Traub has extensive work experience in leadership and management roles. Bill is currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at P&B Intermodal Services, LLC since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at CSX Intermodal Terminals for over a decade, where they held the position of Director, Equipment Maintenance & Lift Systems. In this role, they were responsible for the procurement, maintenance, and integration of intermodal equipment, as well as managing contracts with vendors.

Before entering the private sector, Bill Traub had a distinguished career in the US Navy. Bill served as the Chief of Staff, Submarine Group 10, where they managed the operations and combat readiness of two submarine squadron staffs and their assigned nuclear-powered submarines. Bill also served as a Submarine Officer for a significant portion of their career and commanded the USS FLORIDA (SSGN 728), the first East Coast nuclear-powered OHIO-class guided missile submarine. Additionally, they held various leadership positions, including Battalion Officer at the U.S. Naval Academy, Deputy Commander of Submarine Squadron 20, Commanding Officer of the USS TUCSON (SSN 770), and Executive Assistant to the Commander Pacific Submarine Force.

Bill Traub received their Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering from the United States Naval Academy from 1979 to 1983. Bill then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University from 2010 to 2012.
