Cathy Kades is a seasoned freelance make-up artist and hair stylist with a career spanning over four decades, beginning in 1979 with Cathy Kades Make-up. Kades has worked with major news and media outlets, including MSNBC, PBS, and CBS News since the mid-2000s, providing expertise in make-up and hair styling for television and corporate events. Previous roles also include work at Fox News Media and CNN. Kades received education in cosmetology and art from Natal Technikon and La Belle Madame Makeup School, after studying at Carmel College in Durban, South Africa.
