Jen Ruppmann is a seasoned project manager and programming consultant with extensive experience in public broadcasting and the arts. Currently serving as Senior Project Manager at Craft In America, Jen is leading the HANDWORK: Celebrating American Craft 2026 initiative in collaboration with notable institutions such as the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian and PBS. Previously, Jen has held various roles at PBS from 2008 to the present, including Associate Director of General Audience Programming & Development, where responsibilities encompassed managing significant scripted portfolios, curating content for PBS's first SVOD channel, and serving as the network executive for the original drama series Mercy Street. Jen's background also includes an early tenure as an ABA therapist at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders and academic credentials in psychology from Tulane University, supplemented by studies at New York University and The American University of Paris.
