John Sessler

John Sessler is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in leading educator professional development initiatives, particularly within PBS KIDS. As the Director of Professional Learning for PBS KIDS Ready To Learn since 2022, John has successfully co-designed and implemented innovative training programs, achieving significant increases in user engagement. Previously, John served as a Learning Sciences Exchange Fellow at New America and founded Wet Cement Education Strategies, LLC, where curriculum development efforts reached over 20,000 educators worldwide. Additional roles include Manager of Engagement and Outreach at PBS and Community Engagement Manager at Children's Theatre Company, where John focused on social justice and community impact. John holds a Master of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and dual Bachelor of Science degrees from Northwestern University.
