Murrey Jacobson

National Affairs Editor

Murrey Jacobson has served as the National Affairs Editor at PBS NewsHour since 2004, overseeing editorial coverage of key domestic issues such as economics, health policy, education, and technology, while also managing scripts and coordinating on-air and online content. Prior to this role, Murrey held positions as Sr. Producer for National Affairs and Health Unit Producer at PBS NewsHour and NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, respectively. Earlier experience includes working as a Segment Producer/Reporter at Springfield Union-News and a Reporter at City News Bureau of Chicago. Murrey holds a Master's Degree in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from DePaul University.
