Sharon Philippart is a seasoned media executive with extensive experience in strategic leadership and marketing within public broadcasting. Currently serving as Vice President of Initiatives and Creative Production at PBS KIDS since 2006, Philippart focuses on developing and managing strategic plans that address media disruption, technology, education, equity, and access. Previous roles include Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at PBS KIDS, where Philippart led successful national campaigns and a brand redesign, and National Project Director for the Ready To Learn Project, overseeing a significant literacy initiative. Prior to PBS, Philippart held positions at KERA in Dallas, TX as VP of Marketing & Communications, and at Maryland Public Television as Director of National & International Promotion & Marketing, where pioneering strategies and partnerships were established to enhance brand reputation and awareness. Philippart holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Towson University.
