Documentary Filmmaker at PBS

Stuart Harmon is an experienced documentary filmmaker currently directing a feature-length documentary titled "Hangtown" for PBS, with funding from various organizations including ITVS Open Call and the Fund for Investigative Journalism. Previous work includes roles as Director, Cinematographer, and Producer at VICE News and The Intercept, where projects focused on critical social issues such as police departments and the impacts of climate change. Harmon achieved recognition with a Covering Climate Now Journalism Award for a documentary addressing vulnerable prisoners in the context of climate change.
