Aircrew are the highest exposed occupation in the world. They are bombarded by cosmic radiation on every flight which leads to an increased cancer risk.

This radiation increases in intensity at higher altitudes and the nearer you fly to the poles. It also fluctuates with the 11-12 solar cycle.

PCAire was developed by flying with sophisticated detectors for many year and collecting millions of geo and time identified radiation data all over the world and at all altitudes. These data points were fed into a complex AI program to generate algorithms that model our atmosphere's radiation levels over the entire solar cycle.

PCAire has been examined and tested by all national authorities and scientific committees that test such codes and was certified and identified as the most accurate commercial code available.

PCAire has 100 clients, including commercial, transport, business, private and charter airlines.
Our team includes scientists and researchers who understand cosmic radiation dosimetry and who continue to advance the knowledge in this field and project managers and IT specialists as well as developers and coders. PCAire utilizes ISO based quality to process to ensure data integrity. Automated checks are conducted on all input and output files to ensure all parameters are within strict pre-set requirements to ensure all results are correct and consistent.

PCAire, as a commercial service can adapt to any flight planning software or format and produce the desired out put for clients, including tailored reporting dashboards for management, national authorities and aircrew. Planning functionality allows crew to look at their future dose and manage flight routes to minimize dose while maintaining flight hours.

PCAire also provide awareness training on cosmic radiation for clients and other interested parties.

Visit our website to learn how we can help you and your crew monitor their exposure to cosmic radiation in-flight.
