Kathy Moe Lonowski recently retired as Regional Director of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) San Francisco Region, where they oversaw the safety and soundness of insured deposits across 350 financial institutions. With 38 years of experience in banking regulation, Kathy is currently a Board Member for Discover Financial Services and Pacific Coast Bancshares, among other organizations. They hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Nebraska and a Leadership and Management Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley. Recognized for their expertise in areas such as digital banking and risk management, Kathy has led various initiatives aimed at modernizing banking supervision and enhancing partnerships with low- and moderate-income communities.
