Ashley Steele

Ashley Steele has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to the present. They are currently working at PCCI as a Cloud Security Engineer. Prior to this role, they worked as a Data Analyst at PCCI from February 2020 to January 2023.

Before joining PCCI, Ashley was a Data Science Student at Thinkful from March 2019 to November 2019. During this time, they focused on personal projects and expanded their knowledge in statistics and modeling. One of their notable projects involved conducting time series analysis to analyze the connection between crimes, weather, and demographic information in Dallas, Texas.

Prior to their work in data science, Ashley worked as a Physics Instructor at the Dallas Independent School District from September 2017 to June 2019. They also served as a Lead Science Instructor at KIPP Truth Academy from July 2016 to July 2017.

Starting from August 2012, Ashley worked at the Richardson Independent School District. They held multiple roles during their tenure, including Department Chair and Seventh Grade Lead Science Teacher as well as Google Guide. Additionally, they worked as an Administrative Intern from July 2015 to June 2016.

Overall, Ashley Steele brings a diverse range of experiences in data analysis, education, and science instruction to their current role as a Cloud Security Engineer at PCCI.

Ashley Steele completed their Master of Education (M.Ed.) at Southern Methodist University from 2015 to 2016. Ashley specialized in the Accelerated School Leadership Program. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in EC-4 Bilingual Education from Texas Woman's University between 2006 and 2010.

In addition to their educational background, Ashley Steele obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification in March 2023 from Microsoft.
