Beloved Smart

Beloved Smart is a strategic leader in AI and cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) with over 8 years of experience in designing and implementing IT governance frameworks and risk management programs across regulated industries. Currently serving as a Senior Governance, Risk and Compliance professional at PCL Construction, Beloved has previously worked as a Cyber Security Consultant at Peace Hills Insurance and in various GRC roles at Long View Systems and Refood Food Rescue Foundation. They have directed multiple compliance audits, achieving significant reductions in cyber threats and compliance gaps while ensuring alignment with industry standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST. Beloved is also a dedicated member of the Board of Directors for ISC2 Alberta, contributing as Treasurer. Their education is ongoing at Western Governors University.
