Deron Brown

President & COO, US Operations at PCL Construction

As president and COO, US Operations, and as a member of PCL’s Board of Directors and the Office of the CEO, Deron guides the strategic direction of PCL’s US commercial buildings and civil infrastructure operations while providing corporate oversight throughout the US. Deron began his PCL career in 1996 as project engineer and quickly became one of the company’s youngest vice presidents and district managers in Orlando, where he directed southeast building operations.

Through his continuous drive for improvement, Deron was named a 2018 Top 25 Newsmaker by Engineering-News Record (ENR) for his contributions to advancing innovation and technology in the construction industry by championing the creation of PCL PartsLab. Deron not only strives to make a difference in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, but also throughout his community. His strong sense of philanthropy developed early on in his career and he participated on the board of numerous organizations, including the Edgewood Children’s Ranch, an organization aimed to change the direction of troubled children’s futures, the Parent Development Board for Student Affairs at Auburn University, and was the Tocqueville chair for the Heart of Florida United Way Chapter. Deron is currently a Tocqueville and board member of Mile High United Way.

Deron holds a construction science degree from Auburn University. He has over 25 years of industry experience and is a licensed general contractor.
