James Watson

James Watson is an experienced professional in the construction and engineering fields, currently serving as an Estimator at PCL Construction since April 2018. In this role, James collaborates with a multidisciplinary Estimating team to produce and update estimates during design development and assists the project operations team with procurement. Prior experience includes roles as a Project Coordinator at both PCL Construction and Morley Hoppner Limited, where James facilitated project management for various construction projects, ensuring efficiency and effective execution in collaboration with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. Earlier work included positions as a Lifeguard/Rock Wall Operator for the City of Ottawa and Assistant Land Construction Manager at Mattamy Homes, where James developed skills in project site coordination and management. James holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Ottawa, earned in 2014.
