Carrie Johnson, DES, has extensive experience in event education and management. Starting as an Office Manager at Steve Ford Music from May 2005 to May 2006, Carrie supported the CEO by managing client communications and streamlining office operations. From July 2006 to December 2013, Carrie served as a Senior Coordinator for Education & Learning Services at SmithBucklin, where the design and delivery of educational programs for over 12 associations were spearheaded. Since January 2014, Carrie has been the Senior Director of Event Education at PCMA, leading the strategy and execution of innovative educational programs for major events, engaging over 5,000 professionals annually. Carrie holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Film from Indiana University Bloomington, completed in 2004.
