Simit S.

Simit S. has extensive experience in finance and treasury roles. They started their career as an Associate at Cohen & Company Inc., where they worked in marketing, origination, sales, and business development for structured credit products. They also served as a member of the European Asset Management team, managing a portfolio of hybrid capital debt for middle market banks and insurance firms.

Simit then joined New Technology Steel/Nu tek Steel, LLC as a Consultant, where they acted as the VP of Finance and successfully transformed the company from being a processor of steel products to a broker and strategic advisor in the steel supply chain.

After that, Simit worked at EDMC, first as a Corporate Finance Manager, overseeing treasury, capital markets, and capital structure activities, and later as the leader of private student loan strategy and management, where they managed the sale of a $100M+ private student loan portfolio and structured a private student loan program.

Following their time at EDMC, Simit served as the Chief Financial Officer for Brookline College, overseeing finance and administration, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, financial analysis, and strategic alliances.

Simit then moved on to Apollo Education Group, where they held various roles including Director of Treasury, Senior Director of Treasury, and Assistant Treasurer.

Most recently, Simit joined PCT International, Inc. as the Chief Financial Officer.

Simit S. pursued their education at various institutions over the years. In 1996, they attended Villanova University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry. Following this, in 2003, they briefly studied at VIU/Ca Foscari University and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics and Finance. Later, in 2008, Simit S. enrolled at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, specializing in Business Administration (M.B.A.).
