Bo Yu

Bo Yu is the Senior Engagement Director at PDF Solutions Inc., where they focus on 90nm to 7nm CMOS technology development and integrated yield ramp. They previously held the position of Senior Principal Engineer at Chartered Semi and led the DSIC PI Group at the Institute of Microelectronics in Singapore, specializing in process integration for various CMOS technologies. Bo also served as Deputy Department Manager at the Shanghai Institute of Metallurgy, overseeing CMOS and BiCMOS process development. Their academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Microelectronics from the Institute of Semiconductor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as well as a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Semiconductor Devices and Physics from Shanghai Institute of Metallurgy and Tianjin University, respectively.
