Jon Benson

Jon Benson, CISSP, is a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience in systems and network administration. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Administrator at PDF Solutions since April 2006, Jon specializes in Linux/UNIX systems administration, SAN/iSCSI/NAS storage administration, and network administration within corporate and SaaS environments. Previously, Jon contributed as a Volunteer Race Director for the San Diego Bicycle Club from 2006 to December 2012 and worked as a Network Systems Administrator at Neurome from 2001 to 2006, supporting a biotech startup in neuroscience research. Earlier in Jon's career, a position as a Systems Administrator was held at the University of Minnesota from 1995 to 2001. Jon Benson holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota, earned between 1984 and 1988.
