Markus Rauscher

Principal Design Engineer Architect at PDF Solutions

Markus Rauscher has extensive experience in the field of physics and engineering. Markus started their career as a Doktorand at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) München in 1997 and later worked as a Postdoc at Cornell University from 1999 to 2001. Markus then joined the Max Planck Institute for Metals Research as a Physicst in a joint position with the University of Stuttgart, where they worked until 2011.

At the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, they held the role of Physicist from 2011 to 2013, focusing on Micro- and Nanofluidics, suspension dynamics, nanodroplets and thin films, and liquid theory. This position was also in collaboration with the University of Stuttgart.

From 2001 to 2013, Markus Rauscher worked as a Physicist at the University of Stuttgart, further developing their expertise in the field.

In 2013, they joined PDF Solutions, where they held various roles throughout the years. Markus began as a Senior Software Engineer and then progressed to the role of Staff Engineer. Currently, Markus Rauscher serves as the Principal Design Engineer Architect at PDF Solutions.

Markus Rauscher received their Diploma in Physics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in the years 1990-1995. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctorate in Physics from the same university, completing it between 1995-1999.
