Darko Demić

Darko Demić has diverse work experience in various roles and responsibilities. Darko started their career as a Web Developer at ATAK Interactive, Inc. from December 2015 to January 2017. Darko then worked as a Software Developer at DEVTECH from May 2017 to June 2018, where they focused on implementing full-stack solutions and improving developer tooling. Following that, they were self-employed as a Full Stack Developer from January 2010 to June 2018.

Moving on, Darko joined LotusFlare in June 2018 as a Software Engineer, where they rebuilt and re-architected the main customer portal and web experience. Darko also worked as an Engineering Manager at LotusFlare from July 2019 to August 2022, leading a team responsible for building core system components and providing system and solution-level insights and designs.

Subsequently, Darko joined Smallpdf as an Engineering Manager in September 2022, where they led and grew a cross-functional team focused on solving problems related to file organization, cloud storage, and collaboration. Darko worked closely with Product Owners to design and implement roadmaps and ensure success in targeted metrics and employee satisfaction.

Currently, Darko is working at Pdftools as an Engineering Manager since February 2023, where they continue to utilize their leadership skills to manage and guide the engineering team.

Darko Demić started their education in 2009 at ETS "Nikola Tesla" where they completed a degree in Telecommunications Engineering, specializing as a Tehnicar Telekomunikacija. Darko attended this school until 2013.

In 2014, Darko enrolled at the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering, where they pursued studies in an unspecified field and did not obtain a degree. Darko continued their education at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from 2016 to 2019, focusing on New Computer Technologies.
