Bob Provencher

Bob Provencher has held various positions in the tech industry since 1985. Bob started their career at Colgate Palmolive as a Senior Systems Programmer, where they were responsible for installation and maintenance of MVS/XA, JES2, DFP, UCC1, UCC7, UCC11, IBM/BAL, PL/I, Fortran, and Cobol. In 1991, Bob moved to Rutgers University Center for Math & Science Education as a Software Engineer, where they worked with Borland C++ 2.0 and 3.0. In 1992, Bob held two positions, Senior Software Engineer at Total Systems Integrators and Senior Consultant at Trecom Business Systems. At Total Systems Integrators, they worked with C++/Win32 and at Trecom Business Systems they worked with Borland C++, OWL, Paradox, and Sybase. In 1996, Bob founded Cog Interactive with three other developers and took on the role of VP Development. At Cog Interactive they were the Co-Designer and Chief Architect of Darkmoor, a 3D RPG, and was responsible for Game and Graphics Engine Development and Architecture. In 1999, Bob moved to Incurrent as VP R&D & Chief Architect. In 2008, Bob joined Lumeta Corporation as Interim VP Engineering & Chief Architect and introduced new processes that helped bring the completely rearchitected IPsonar 4.0 product to market. In 2011, Bob joined PDHI as Chief Technology Officer and VP Transactional Services. As VP Transactional Services, they were responsible for the transactional PaaS platform -- ConXus Wellness Portal and web services, and co-architected and developed ConXus XP. Bob was also the Principal Mobile Architect and developer for ConXus Mobile, PDHI's iOS offering of their workplace wellness product. In addition, Bob was President & CEO of Aesir Software, Inc. from 1993-1999.

Bob Provencher began their education in 1982 at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, studying Computer Science. In 1987, they transferred to Middlesex County College, where they completed an Associate's degree in Computer Science in 1991. Bob then continued their studies at Rutgers University, studying Computer Science until 1997. Finally, they returned to the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 2018.
