Leyla Bauer

Leyla Bauer is an experienced Data Engineer, currently serving as a Data Engineer II at PDI Software since August 2020, where responsibilities include building and maintaining data pipelines using Java, Python, and SQL in GCP BigQuery and GCS. Prior to this role, Leyla held the position of Data Engineer I at the same company and was a Jr. Data Engineer at Wavicle Data Solutions. Leyla also has a diverse background in event planning and community engagement, having served as a Senior Event Planner at Atlas Obscura, a Program Manager at Business Partners, and as a Historian & Tour Guide at Madison Square Garden. Additionally, Leyla is the co-founder of Chicago Street Strings and has experience in various administrative and instructional roles, showcasing strong adaptability and communication skills. Leyla holds dual degrees in Music Theory and Composition and Audio Design & Production from Columbia College Chicago.
