Niladri Kar began their work experience in 2007 as a Piping Design Engineer at Projects & Development India Ltd. Niladri continued in this role until joining Reliance in December 2007. After a brief tenure at Reliance, they moved to Jacobs Consultancy in February 2008, where they worked as a Piping Design Engineer until October 2011. In October 2011, they joined PDIL as an Additional Chief Engineer in the Piping department.
Niladri Kar completed a Bachelor's of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, from 2002 to 2007. Following that, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
