Sumit Kumar has a diverse work experience in project management and engineering. Sumit started their career in 2008 at Punj Lloyd Limited, where they worked as a Senior Engineer in bidding and estimation. In this role, they were responsible for costing piping and mechanical erection works for process plants and preparing techno-commercial proposals. Sumit also worked on the development of construction schedules and aligning project work scope with the company's structured Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). In 2012, Sumit joined PDIL as a Deputy Chief Engineer in Project Management. Their responsibilities included planning and scheduling engineering, developing EPC schedules, and updating them on Primavera. Sumit also contributed to aligning project work scope with the company's WBS.
Sumit Kumar attended Skyline Institute of Engineering & Technology in Greater Noida from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, they completed their High School and Matriculation at Noida Public School in Noida from 2002 to 2004. Additionally, they secured first place in a Bachelor of Technology program in Mechanical Engineering.
