Brian O'Connell, PhD, has a diverse professional background in Human Capital engagements. Brian has over 25 years of experience supporting Federal, DoD, and National Security Agency clients. Brian has held positions at PDRI by Pearson as a Managing Director, at Deloitte as a Specialist Leader, at ICF International as Vice President and Director of the Center for National Security Research (CNSR), and at the American Institutes for Research as a Principal Research Scientist. Their roles have included developing and implementing strategies, managing large-scale engagements, creating and leading business units, and recruiting and developing personnel. Brian's expertise lies in job analyses, workforce planning, survey design and administration, training development and evaluation, and organizational assessments.

Brian O'Connell, PhD, has an extensive education history in the field of psychology. Brian earned their Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Galway. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree (M.A.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of South Florida. Building on their previous education, Brian earned their PhD in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from the same institution.

In addition to their academic achievements, Brian has also obtained certifications in various fields. Brian earned a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Management Institute (PMI) in August 2011. Furthermore, they hold Top Secret clearances and additional special clearances from multiple agencies in the United States Department of Defense.
