Jens Persson

Jens Persson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jens started their career at Pipebeach in 2000 as a software developer, where they wrote their master's thesis on an agent for navigating websites over the phone. Jens then implemented the Speech Synthesis Markup Language specification and worked on the clustering framework for call routing and load balancing.

In 2003, Jens joined Hewlett-Packard as a software developer and stayed there until 2006. Jens then moved to Confy AB (formerly known as Fjord Network AB) as a software development manager. At Confy AB, Jens implemented and maintained IVR services and in-house VoIP platforms. Jens also managed the development process during their tenure.

From 2012 to 2014, Jens worked as an IT Team Leader at MeetingZone. In 2014, they joined IPsoft as an R&D Engineer, working on the IPcenter ITSM platform and developing integration frameworks for ITIL Event, Change, Incident, Problem, and Configuration management. Jens also worked on natural language processing, specifically Named Entity Recognition, for languages such as Spanish, French, and the Nordic languages.

In 2020, Jens joined Pensionsmyndigheten as a Software Developer and remained there until 2022. Currently, they are working at PE Accounting as the Lead Developer, starting in October 2022.

Jens Persson completed their education in a master's degree program at Stockholm University from 1996 to 2001. Jens obtained a Degree of Master in Computational Linguistics. Additionally, in April 2002, they received a certification as a Sun certified programmer for the Java 2 Platform. The institution where the certification was obtained is unknown.
