Anthony Marriott has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Anthony started their career in 1992 as an Audit Senior at KPMG Australia, where they led audit work on regulatory reporting and corporate insolvency projects. In 1995, they joined KPMG UK as a Senior Manager, specializing in infrastructure, manufacturing, and train operating companies. Anthony also led a team on a forensic accounting assignment in Zurich and conducted financial due diligence for various industries. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Project Manager at the Strategic Rail Authority. In 2001, Marriott moved to KPMG Germany as a Senior Manager in Transaction Services, where they managed international financial, tax, and commercial due diligence projects. Anthony then returned to KPMG UK in 2005 as an Associate Director in Transaction Services, focusing on infrastructure and government transactions. In 2006, they joined the Olympic Delivery Authority as the Head of Business Assurance, responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, and managing commercial transactions. Marriott remained with the organization until 2014. In 2015, they joined Peabody as the Head of Treasury & Financial Planning, later transitioning to the role of Head of Treasury. In March 2021, they became the Director of Treasury and Corporate Finance, a position they currently hold.

Anthony Marriott attended the University of Birmingham from 1984 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Economics.
