Carole Wright

Carole Wright is an experienced gardener and community engagement specialist, currently serving as the Founder of Blak Outside since October 2017. With a long-standing tenure at Peabody starting in April 2004 as a Resident, Carole has also contributed to the Church of England - Diocese in Europe as a Garden Manager from November 2016 to February 2018. Previous roles include Consultative Gardener at St Mungo's Broadway and Apiary Manager/Beekeeper at St John's Church, where responsibilities included managing community gardening initiatives, leading workshops, and promoting biodiversity through public speaking. Carole's role as Project Officer with Garden Organic involved developing a network of Master Gardeners to encourage food growing among Peabody residents. Additionally, experience as a Community Gardener and Environmental Educator at Bankside Open Spaces Trust has further solidified Carole's commitment to community gardening and education.
