Peace by Piece Art is a registered health promotion charity with deductible gift recipient status. Located in Perth, Western Australia, we address the challenges of accessing long-term mental health management, which often focuses primarily on medication and behavioural therapies without building safety in the body and environment.

Our aim is to provide creative and somatic therapies to improve the social and emotional wellbeing of people who have experienced trauma or mental health challenges, allowing them to work towards a holistic wholeness of self for themselves and future generations.

We offer a unique and complementary approach within the field of mental health and trauma recovery which bridges the gap in accessible mental health care by creating a supportive environment where individuals can explore and process their emotions in a non-verbal and gentle manner.

We are committed to creating a space where individuals can discover their creativity, heal and connect with a supportive community.  Our structured sessions are designed to help participants develop resilience and self-compassion — key components for long-term mental health management. We currently offer workshops and sessions at various venues.

Our future plans include securing a purpose-built studio that includes a café and gallery. Here, individuals can work on their pieces, display their art, and even have the opportunity to sell their creations. This multifaceted environment supports both creative expression and community engagement.
