David Solomon

David Solomon has extensive experience in management and operations, currently serving as the Director of Management and Operations at the Peace Corps since June 2002. Solomon's career at the Peace Corps includes various roles such as Procurement Analyst (Overseas) and Associate Peace Corps Director for Administration in Mauritania and Gabon. Prior to this, experience includes positions as an Account Executive at Austin Community College, Director of Sales and Marketing at Indus Technology, Country Director at AMIDEAST, Director of Educational Services at Technology Futures, Inc., and Director of the American Language Center in Burkina Faso under the Department of State Development (USIS). Solomon began a career with the Peace Corps in June 1989 as a Journalism Professor and Training Manager (Volunteer). Academic qualifications include a B.A. in History and French from Lawrence University and an M.A. in Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder.
