Ethan Frey

TEFL Teacher Volunteer

Ethan Frey is an experienced professional with a strong background in community and international development, as well as Spanish language skills. Since February 2004, Ethan has been a TEFL Teacher Volunteer with the Peace Corps in Ecuador, enhancing students' English communication abilities and supporting teacher development. Recent internships include logistical support for farmworker rights with Migrant Justice and a consumer experience project with the University of Vermont, where Ethan conducted a survey on COVID-19 impacts in Saint Lucia. Additional roles at the University of Vermont include Wilderness TREK Leader and Orientation Leader, emphasizing leadership and group management skills. Previous experience includes policy advocacy with the League of United Latin American Citizens, logistical and research assistance at the Americas Society/Council of the Americas, and youth instruction at L.L.Bean. Ethan holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Community and International Development and Spanish from the University of Vermont, as well as a study abroad experience at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
