Jodi Hammer

Jodi Hammer is an experienced career development specialist currently serving as an Expert Consultant with the Peace Corps since October 2007, where responsibilities include providing career counseling to returning Peace Corps Volunteers and facilitating workshops on career-related topics. Previously, Jodi worked with the Hispanic Committee of Virginia from 2005 to 2007 as an Adult & Youth Education Coordinator, managing educational programs and direct services for immigrant families. Jodi's background also includes serving as the Assistant Director of Training for AmeriCorps NCCC from 1999 to 2003, where training was developed for young adults in a national service program. Jodi began a career in international service as a National Health Volunteer Coordinator and Technical Trainer with the Peace Corps in Ecuador from 1994 to 1997, focusing on health education and volunteer training. Jodi holds a Master’s Degree in International Adult Education from Howard University/UDC and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts with a Certification in Training & Development from the University of Northern Iowa.
