Nicolas Boury

Nicolas Boury has extensive experience in community organization and environmental conservation, currently serving as a Soccer and Youth Development Response Volunteer with the Peace Corps since March 2017. In this role, Nicolas has coordinated a solar panel project to enhance environmental awareness among community members and provided impactful youth programming focused on leadership and healthy decision-making. Additionally, Nicolas served as a Voluntary Advisory Council Provincial Representative, facilitating communication between post office staff and volunteers. Previously, Nicolas worked as an Engineering Intern at the Kishwaukee Water Reclamation District, where analysis and project management in wastewater treatment were key responsibilities. Early in his career, Nicolas officiated youth soccer matches with AYSO, developing skills in facilitation and promoting inclusive athleticism. Nicolas holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies from Northern Illinois University, earned in 2015.
