Steven Lawrence

Steven Lawrence currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at Walters State Community College, teaching Introduction to Political Science and American Government. In addition, Steven is an Election Commissioner for Hamblen County Government and provides English as a Second Language (ESL) tutoring and teaching through IOR Global Services and Global LT, Inc. Steven’s experience includes serving as a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, where significant engagement in civil discourse and public affairs occurred. Steven also held roles such as Principal Consultant at Twentyone-Eleven Int’l., Ltd., and was an active candidate for the Morristown City Council. With an educational background that includes a Master’s in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Colorado, Steven is committed to education, community engagement, and political service.
