The Peace Culture Foundation (PCF) was established in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in 2016. Led by Assist. Prof. Dr. Sombat Tapanya, a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience in child protection, our mission is to advocate for peace and prevent violence through Aikido training, community service projects, research, and training workshops for children, youth, families,
schools, and the general public. We collaborate with various organizations and institutions on projects at both local and international levels, such as UNICEF, the Thai Health Promotion Foundation, the Department of Children and Youth, the Department of Women Affairs and Family Development, the Chiang Mai Provincial Social Development and Human Security Office, the Global Parenting Initiative and more.
