Chris Wilcox

Chris Wilcox has over 14 years of work experience in software engineering and IT consulting. Chris started their career in 2006 as an IT Consultant & Software Engineer at Novacoast. In 2008, they joined the University of California, Santa Barbara College of Letters and Sciences IT Dept, where they imaged and deployed desktop and notebook systems, and troubleshot and repaired IT software, networking and printer issues. In 2010, they became an Independent Software Developer and Consultant. In 2011, they joined Cloud Nine Wireless as a Software Engineer. In 2012, they moved to Cloud Nine Media, Part of Boingo Wireless, where they designed and implemented scaling ad server capacity, developed network-heavy apps, built a WiFi MAC address tracking system, and hired and trained new full stack dev hires. In 2014, they joined Zoomforth as the first engineer hire, where they built the company and product from idea to profitability, researched and integrated SaaS tech components, made hiring decisions, and built many product features. In 2020, they joined Peach as a Senior Software Engineer.

Chris Wilcox attended UC Santa Barbara from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
