David Walsh

David Walsh is an experienced executive and entrepreneur in the technology and telecommunications sectors, currently serving as Managing Partner at Activ8 Growth Partners since October 2022, where the focus is on partnering with early-stage tech companies to facilitate growth. Walsh holds board and advisory positions at multiple companies, including Pax8, DefensX, Kalibr8™, and Newphotonics, contributing critical insights in cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and optical connectivity. Previously, Walsh was a Founding Partner at Extranet Venture Partners, co-founded Kandy.io, and held leadership roles at GENBAND and Global Crossing. Educational background includes an MPS from New York University and a BBA from Valdosta State University.
