Roy Wilson's work experience begins in 2004, when they joined the University of Wisconsin-Extension as a Dairy and Livestock Agent. During this time, they planned, implemented, taught, and evaluated educational programs focused on the needs of the community.

In 2016, they transitioned to the role of Senior Vice President of Dairy Marketing, Sales, and Product Development, managing personnel and coordinating marketing, sales, and service activities for all semen and resale products in the U.S. market.

Roy Wilson obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Roy later pursued their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Animal Genetics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completing their studies from 2002 to 2004.
