Simon Lyon

Simon Lyon is an experienced professional with a diverse career spanning several decades. Currently serving as an Emergency Department Volunteer at Northern Beaches Hospital Sydney since December 2019, Simon also holds consultancy roles at Peak Re since May 2014 and as a Director at MacquarRe since April 2012. Simon's leadership experience includes founding the Port Jackson Veterans Cricket Club, where a tenure as Chairman lasted until November 2022, and serving as President of Veterans Cricket NSW from January 2019 to February 2023. Earlier in the career, Simon held management positions at Transatlantic Reinsurance Co as General Manager and worked in sales at Touchstone Computers and Golding Collins. Educational roots trace back to Haileybury & ISC and Heath Mount Preparatory School, where foundational learning occurred between 1962 and 1972.
