Simon Teppett has a vast and varied work experience spanning over several decades. Simon started their career as an IT Manager at Mitsubishi Trust & Banking Corporation in London from 1992 to 1997.
Following that, they joined British Sky Broadcasting Ltd in 1997 and held the role of Head of Technical Services + New Media Technology. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in the design and delivery of various systems for the Sky Digital launch. Simon also led the New Media Technology team, where they developed interactive "red button" apps, built and ran the infrastructure for the Sky websites, and delivered technical resources for the websites. Additionally, they spearheaded the launch of the SkyNow ISP and introduced mobile engagement with a live score service.
In the year 2000, Simon Teppett became the VP Technology at chello Broadband Ltd (UPC), overseeing software development, infrastructure, and support teams. Under their leadership, the company developed and operated 13 national broadband portals, managed content partner integration, and built the infrastructure for the launch of 5 digital TV networks.
