Shawn Chu

Shawn Chu is a skilled professional with extensive experience in control systems and renewable energy. Currently serving as a SCADA and ICT Manager at PEAK Wind since September 2021, Shawn is responsible for managing SCADA systems for offshore wind farms. Prior to this role, Shawn held positions as a SCADA and performance supervisor engineer at Swancor Renewable Energy and as an Electrical Engineer at GE Power, where expertise was applied to the YunLin offshore wind farm's 66kV-161kV sub-station. Earlier experience includes roles as a Control System Engineer at Corning Incorporated, where Shawn led various projects, including PLC programming and building control systems. Shawn's career began as a Control Engineer at CTCI Advanced System Inc., focusing on FMCS engineering and SCADA programming. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Electrical and Control Engineering from Feng Chia University, alongside Bachelor's degrees in Dental Hygiene and Occupational Therapy from Kaohsiung Medical University and Chung Shan Medical University, respectively.
