James Ward

James Ward has extensive work experience, starting with their current role as Director of Finance Operations at PEAK6 since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Director and Vice President at Guggenheim Partners from 2013 to 2022. Before that, they were a Corporate Controller and Senior Accountant at NinjaTrader Group, LLC from 2009 to 2013. James began their career as a Staff Auditor at Legacy Professionals LLP from 2008 to 2009.

James Ward has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Illinois State University, which they obtained in 2007. James went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (Executive Program) from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business in 2018. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Certified Public Accountant, a Series 3 FINRA Certified professional, and a Series 27 FINRA Certified Financial and Operations Principal.
