Maurice Simon

Maurice Simon is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Vice President Legal at both Peak XV Partners and Sequoia Capital since mid-2022. Previously, Maurice held the position of Group Head of Legal - International Markets at Gojek from May 2018 to May 2022, where legal oversight was provided for Indonesia's leading mobile on-demand and payments platform. Maurice's earlier roles include Regional Legal Counsel for The Linde Group in South Asia and ASEAN from April 2014 to April 2018, as well as an Associate at Allen & Overy, where corporate and M&A legal services were offered. Maurice began a career in law as a Trainee Solicitor with Allen & Overy and served as a Lieutenant in the Singapore Armed Forces National Service. Maurice holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The London School of Economics and Political Science and completed the Legal Practice Course at The University of Law.
