Jerry Rush has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Jerry began their career at AT&T Southwest in 1974, where they held multiple roles including OSP Engineer, Construction Manager, Engineering Planning Manager, and Area Manager - Engineering. During their time at AT&T, they managed various engineering projects, including civic projects and subdivisions, and utilized both manual drafting and CADD software to prepare engineering drawings. In 2009, they started their own company, Rush Construction, where they served as the Business Owner until 2013. Then, they joined Ericsson in 2013 and held multiple roles, including Advance Engineer III - OSP Engineering and Construction SME, Quality Auditor/Fiber Trainer, and Service Delivery Management. At Ericsson, they provided support to fiber projects, developed processes and procedures, managed the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program, and trained others in fiber technologies. Most recently, Jerry Rush worked at Pearce Services in 2021 as a Program Manager / Program Management Office. Jerry Rush attended Texas A&I at Kingsville, Tx starting in 1971. Jerry studied Electrical Engineering, although it is unknown if they completed a degree in this field. In addition to their education, Jerry has obtained certifications such as the Air Blown Fiber, Ribbonet and Micronet Trainer from Hexatronic (Sweden), as well as the Certified Fiber Optic Specialist/Testing (CFOS/T) and Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) from the Fiber Optic Association.
